Funding Policies
To be eligible for funding, programs must:

Focus on the Foundation's mission

Encourage collaboration and eliminate duplication of services

Address new and emerging needs or incorporate new approaches to meeting current needs

Demonstrate vision, action, effectiveness, good management, and quality

Applicant organizations must be non-profit and tax exempt and must qualify under IRS status 501(c) (3) or Section 170 (c)

Proof of exemption status is required
The Foundation does not fund:

Basic cancer research, not excluding applied research

Grants to individuals or scholarships
-
Requests outside the El Paso area
-
Films or videos as stand-alone projects
-
Endowment funds
-
Religious organizations for religious purposes
-
Multi-year grant projects
