About Constipation
The International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders (IFFGD) is a Public Charity designated under the U.S. IRS code 501(c)(3). We are a nonprofit education and research organization dedicated to informing, assisting, and supporting people affected by gastrointestinal (GI) disorders. IFFGD was founded in 1991 by one person struggling with the challenges imposed by a chronic GI disorder. Many others, from all walks of life, have joined with us. We work with patients, families, physicians, nurses, practitioners, investigators, regulators, employers, and others to improve digestive health in the adults and children.

About GERD
GERD, or gastroesophageal reflux disease, is a condition which develops when the back-flow (reflux) of stomach contents causes troublesome symptoms and/or complications. Serious health problems can result if it is not treated properly.

About Gi Motility
If you often suffer from digestive symptoms such as heartburn, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, constipation, or diarrhea – you may be one of the many people worldwide affected by a motility disorder. Functional gastrointestinal and motility disorders (FGIMDs) are long-term (chronic) digestive conditions about which little is understood and few (if any) treatment options exist.
