Programs

The Rio Grande Cancer Foundation funds grants in support of community programs and projects. In addition, we support several in-house programs which provide direct services to patients and family members. Some of our major programs are:

	The George Ball Childcare program provides short-term child care for patients and their caregivers during diagnosis and treatment.
	The Patient Air Transportation program provides assistance with air transportation for patients who are referred outside the El Paso area for care.
	The Four Seasons Beauty program provides practical assistance for women experiencing hair loss.
	Keep on Dancing is our annual educational seminar for patients and those who love them.
	The Green House is our comprehensive resource center and library, named in tribute to Leighton Green, Jr.
	The Alliance was established to enhance the lives of cancer patients by connecting the newly diagnosed with seasoned survivors toward emotional and practical support
